Dan joined the field force in late 2024 and became a field agent in 2025.  Before joining the agency, Dan was a founding member and had a 30-year career in technical and business development as well as regional leadership at NatureWorks LLC, a leading bio-plastics manufacturer. 

Dan joined the Knights in 2011 and became a 4th Degree Knight in 2020.  He served Council 945 as Chancellor, Deputy Grand Knight and Grand Knight, then went on to serve as District Deputy for 4 years, earning a Star District Award in 2023.  He actively participates in Assembly 2300 events, with his fellow 4th Degree Knights in the Owatonna area. 

Dan lives in Owatonna with his wife, Sheila and has 3 adult children.  Sheila teaches 4th grade at St. Mary’s in Owatonna.

When he isn’t serving members and their families, Dan enjoys many outdoor activities such as hiking/backpacking, kayak touring, cross-country skiing, hunting and fishing.
